Grade IV - Data Quality Administrator

Cpl on behalf of a public sector organisation have a requirement for a Data Quality Administrator. 

The duration of this post is 12 months. There is a possibility of extension thereafter for further projects, subject to performance.

Working 35 hours per week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of â¬33,422. You will accrue 28 days' annual leave per annum (paid Public Holidays).

The role is based in Drogheda, Co Louth with a blended working model in place. A minimum of 2 days a week in Drogheda (Thursday and one other day).

The role requires an individual with an interest in data management and may suit a graduate (QQI Level VI or above) or working in a similar environment. The role involves managing and analysing large datasets and sources to support strategic decision-making, which requires a solid understanding of business principles and a meticulous approach to data accuracy and integrity. Additionally, it provides an excellent opportunity to develop and refine analytical skills, work with advanced data management tools, and contribute to impactful business decisions, all of which are highly valuable in todayâs data-centric world.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Post:

The role has administrative and data analysis responsibilities, which include the following:

⢠Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibility

⢠Specifically for HIDS, this will include the management of service mailboxes on an ongoing basis

⢠Provide support to the HIDS Data Quality Manager/Lead with strategic planning through comprehensive analysis of data sets and sources.

⢠DQAâs will have projects that will be identified by their line manager and a PID (Project Initiation Document) will be formalised to confirmed project scope and stakeholders

⢠Provide support to the HIDS Data Team Manager/Leads with data and statistical analysis and reporting tools contributing to assist with regular reporting to Senior Management.

Qualifications and Experience

⢠A business graduate may find this position rewarding as it allows them to develop critical skills in data analysis, project management, and stakeholder communication. Additionally the role provides exposure to real business challenges, offering valuable experience that can pave the way for future career advancement in data management and related fields.  

⢠The minimum qualification is:

i. Have obtained a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish1. Candidates should have obtained at least Grade C on higher level papers in three subjects in that examination.  

Or

ii. Have completed a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction.  

Or

iii. Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland, (QQI). 

Note1: Candidates must achieve a pass in Ordinary or Higher-level papers. A pass in a foundation level paper is not acceptable. Candidates must have achieved these grades on the Leaving Certificate Established programme or the Leaving Certificate Vocational programme. The Leaving Certification Applied Programme does not fulfil the eligibility criteria. 

And

a. Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office. 

⢠Experience of working with data or in a similar business environment is desirable

⢠Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

⢠Excellent IT and Excel Skills

⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills

⢠Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
