Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, OT & IT staff, manufacturing systems and other stakeholders to support database-related projects and initiatives

Experience:

  • Minimum good years of experience in database administration, with a focus on SQL Server, Oracle, and/or MySQL.
  • Experience with database design principles, normalization techniques, and query optimization.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving experience to develop robust and feasible data models with ability to abstract and think analytically.
  • Excellent understanding of data security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in database management tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database query languages.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with database security practices and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
  • Understanding of database design and data modelling principles.
