Installation Apprentice

As an Installation Apprentice, you will embark on a journey to master the art of accurate and professional product installations. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you will learn the intricacies of our installation procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards. This role requires dedication, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and improving your skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Health & Safety Protocols:
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently.
  • Understand and comply with COVID-19 safety protocols.
  • Utilise Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Participate in safety meetings and report any incidents promptly.
  • Learn & Develop Skills through On-the-Job Training:
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Complete assigned training modules and tasks.
  • Participate in on-site training sessions with experienced installers.
  • Understand and follow installation checklists accurately.
  • Assist in the Installation Process: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work van.
  • Aid in loading and unloading materials.
  • Assist with site setup and preparation.
  • Handle material measurements and cutting tasks.
  • Assist in various installation tasks as directed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the work area post-installation.
  • Support in service calls and additional tasks as needed.
  • Assist in Inventory Control: Help maintain accurate inventory levels in the van.
  • Assist with stocking and organising materials.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Carpentry or renovation experience preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to use power tools is advantageous.
  • Valid driverâs licence with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry various objects weighing up to 70 Kgs.
  • Engage in physical activities such as lifting, bending, twisting, walking, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Utilise proper PPE as necessary.
  • Maintain visual and auditory acuity.
