German Payroll Associate â Galway City

My client a multinational e- commerce company are seeking to hire a Payroll associate who is fluent in German to join their team in Galway City. This role will be fully onsite in Galway City. The successful candidate will be fluent in both German and English.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

·       Take full ownership of completing Monthly Payroll to ensure the timely processing of payroll across several entities.

·       Ensure payroll reporting and employee payments are accurate and compliant with company policy and local country and regulations.

·       Working within the payroll team to assist your colleagues with their workload and cover periods of leave.

·       Ensuring quality and completeness of payroll data across company systems

·       Respond to payroll queries and resolve in line with support SLAs.

·       Collaborate with various cross functionality stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate monthly payroll process.

·       Comprehends and consistency applies to company policies and procedures. Understand internal accounting processes, practices, SOX and internal controls necessary to safeguard company assets and minimize exposure.

·       Independently able to research and resolve issues.

 

Experience:

·       Bachelorâs Degree/Payroll/Finance qualification desirable

·       Fluent German and English language skills.

·       Meticulous attention to detail and strong planning and forward-thinking capabilities

·       Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and situations before they are fully developed.

·       An understanding of Employee Income Taxation and Statutory requirements is a strong advantage. 

·       Previous experience working with a Third-Party payroll provider is advantageous.

·       Experience of Payroll migrations and new market expansions is advantageous.

·       Advanced proficiency in Google Enterprise Suite tools (calendar, mail drive, docs, sheets, slides, meet)

·       Extremely high level of discretion pertaining to confidential information.

·       Flexible and able to handle ad hoc issues that may arise outside of core business hours.
