Systems - Health, Sustainability & Safety Manager - Maternity Contract - Sligo
A rare opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and experienced Health, Sustainability and Safety Manager to oversee the implementation of management systems across two manufacturing facilities that manufacture modular structures. Reporting to the head of Health, Sustainability & Safety you will have a focus on the day to day activities from production through to transport for customers or construction sites. A maternity leave contract for up to eighteen months. For anyone wanting to use their systems and implementation knowledge this role is working alongside a very established and professional team who set up colleagues for success. Responsibilities:
Providing Health, Safety and Sustainability advice and support to factory delivery teams and stakeholders.Implementing the OHS and Environmental management system requirements.Attending relevant factory meetings including start up meetings, factory meetings and supply chain meetings.Developing factory standard procedures and supporting processes inline with the management systemsReviewing contractor RAMS, supporting plans, permits and training recordsCarrying out audits/inspections of Built projects in line with management systemReporting of H&S and Environmental metrics on various systems including Ecoonline and Smart waste.Managing the training needs of the factory team for Health, Safety and including delivery of courses where appropriate.Supporting the Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability in continual improvement of the management systems.Assisting the tender and prequalification teams where requiredBeing aware of critical legislative changes and best practices to enable the provision of competent Health, Safety and Environmental advice to the site stakeholders.

You will have:
IOSH and NEBOSH Diploma in OHS or equivalent and/or higher3+ years of experience as a Health and Safety professional in the construction/manufacturing sector utilising an OHS/Env reporting systemExcellent Communication, Computer, Time Management and Organisation SkillsLead and implement performance management strategies and toolsCompleted or have demonstrable experience and awareness of PSDP and/or PSCS, lifting operations BS 7121/IS 361, Temp Works Awareness incl. knowledge of TWS role and Incident Investigation Training
