This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kerry Group Treasury Team in Ireland. Reporting into the Group Treasury Finance Manager, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a range of Treasury activity, with the possibility to develop and progress in Treasury and into wider finance roles in the world's leading taste and nutrition company.

 

We are looking for a team player with excellent numerical ability, effective communication skills, and  a strong work ethic. Whilst prior Treasury experience is desirable, it is not essential, as training and further development opportunities will be available. 

 

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy. The successful candidate will need to be based out of our Tralee or Naas office as the role will require time in the office each week.

 

Key responsibilities

• Management of FX positions and exposures across the Group.
• Preparation of month-end Treasury reporting files to Group deadlines.
• Issuance of Treasury monthly reporting packs.
• Management of SAP Treasury modules.
• Completion of Treasury bank reconciliations.
• Preparation of Group inter-company settlement files, distribution of inter-company statements and completion of payment files.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and the year-end audit.
• Review of subsidiary financial statements for Treasury related matters.
• Participation in Group Treasury projects

Qualifications and skills

In Kerry we understand that people have quite different career trajectories and experiences. To be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a similar role and environment.

 

These include:

• Qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Good numerical and technical analysis skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Delivery focused, with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong team working ethic.
• Knowledge of SAP including SAP BPC is preferred, but not essential.
• Prior exposure to Treasury is preferable, is not essential.
