The successful applicant will be required to enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care at all times. This will include support, motivation and guidance for all employees within your remit.

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute general.A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cardiothoracic experience is essentialProven ability to provide skilled clinical and technical expertise as a member of the  Theatre nursing team.Relevant course essential in Peri Anaesthesia and/or Peri Operative nursing or equivalentA management qualification is essentialPreceptorship/teaching and assessing of students is also desirableRegistered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI


Person Specification:


Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.Must possess exceptional leadership qualities, communication skills and clinical skills.Fluency in English, both written and spokenMust be computer literateFlexibility and excellent use of initiative
