Property Underwriter - Product Manager

My Client, a leading wholesale provider of insurance solutions to the broker market in Ireland is looking for a Property Product Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for growth and staying abreast of market trends.
• Providing insights to enhance portfolio performance and tactically address risks.
• Offering expert technical underwriting advice and guidance.
• Handling queries and referrals within designated authority limits.
• Assisting in technical training and mentoring initiatives.
• Contributing to the development of underwriting standards and procedures.
• Maintaining and updating underwriting guidelines.

Requirements:

• Possession of a relevant designation, such as Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP).
• Substantial experience in General Commercial Insurance, particularly in Property Insurance.
• Comprehensive understanding of property insurance markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrating excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Capability to meet deadlines, meticulous attention to detail, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
