The Opportunity:

As an IT Java Software Developer, you will work closed with our senior developers to create, test, and maintain software solutions using a wide range of technologies including Java, Angular, Python, HTML5, TensorFlow, and SQL. This internship promises an invaluable learning experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the software development world.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior developers to develop and maintain software applications in line with detailed requirements and system specifications.

  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.

  • Assist with the testing and debugging of software applications.

  • Document software solutions and ensure that technical documentation meets GM standards.

  • Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in software development through guidance and mentorship

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages, preferably Java.

  • Knowledge of software development best practices, such as version control, unit testing, and debugging.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Hybrid: Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that theemployee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week
