Splunk Specialist

Job Title: Short-Term Splunk (and/or) Qualys Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: Short-Term Contract

Our client is a dynamic company specializing in Insurance. This role will be roughly 25 days for each project (Splunk and Qualys) and can be a fully remote role.

The Role: We are seeking one or two experienced Splunk and Qualys Engineers/Architects for a short-term contract position. The primary focus of this role will be to peer review our client's Splunk and Qualys environments and provide advisory and hands-on support to an internal Splunk and Qualys remediation project.

Responsibilities:

Review the Splunk and Qualys environments, identifying areas for remediation.

Provide advisory support and hands-on assistance to an internal Splunk and Qualys remediation project.

Peer review remediation work completed by our internal team (TCS).

For Splunk: Review configured use cases and log source ingestions.

For Qualys: Review devices not reporting in and improve vulnerability reporting.

Requirements:

Extensive experience with Splunk and Qualys.

Proven track record of providing advisory support and hands-on assistance in remediation projects.

Ability to conduct thorough peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
