As a Commercial Underwriter, you'll play a crucial role in assessing and analysing risks associated with commercial insurance policies. You'll collaborate closely with our clients, brokers, and internal teams to ensure accurate underwriting decisions and provide exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

This role requires all-inclusive analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with brokers and clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Collaborate with sub-brokers to understand their unique insurance needs.

  • Evaluate and underwrite insurance policies, ensuring the best coverage.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to provide expert advice.

The Requirements

  • CIP qualification or working towards same.

  • Commercial experience i.e. Property / Liability / Motor.

  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites in particular Microsoft Excel.
