Cpl Healthcare is actively recruiting Social Care Workers for a Kilkenny and Tipperary service that provides high-quality support to adults with disabilities in a community environment. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join a brilliant team of social and care staff in supporting adults toward independent living and community integration.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Key-working with service users, assisting in the development and implementation of their person-centered care plans to meet the needs of the service user and regularly reviewing to implement changes, when necessary
  • Support the service users to integrate into their community, facilitating and supporting them in social outings and activities
  • Encourage independent living skills such as money management, house duties, cooking, shopping, etc
  • Assist the management team in the day-to-day running of the service, carrying out delegated roles
  • Ensure all reporting writing and files are updated, accurate, and maintained

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 7 in Social Care or related sector
  • 1-2 years experience in social care working with vulnerable individuals
  • Experience working with challenging behaviors
  • Strong working knowledge of legislation in place to protect vulnerable adults
  • Applicants must hold a full, clean driver's license for this post.
