What is the opportunity? As Senior IT Operational Resilience Manager, you will have an excellent opportunity to contribute to the improvement of the Banks IT Operational Resilience capabilities through assessment of IT Resilience underpinning Important business services and the IT services that support them, including working closely with the Important Business Services owner. You will work within the Service Design team in Technology Services and get the chance to work in a dynamic environment and be part of a team who continuously look for ways to enhance assurance that our critical IT services have the IT resilience and capability to meet our customers' needs. In this role, you will:
  • Ensure that IT underpinning Important Business Service assessed for resilience and capability to meet customer expectations
  • Act as a Service Integrator for IT Operational Resilience across all Technology Services teams, partners, and key customers
  • Analyse and contribute to the IT Operational Resilience framework.
  • Educating multiple parties on IT Operational Resilience policies, controls, and risks
  • Lead a small team across some functional areas of IT Operational Resilience
  • Analyse information from a broad range of sources and preparing high quality reports on IT Operational Resilience
What will make you stand out? You will have experience of leading a small team of IT professionals with a consistent track record in dealing with multiple partners and service providers while ensuring a great service for customers, and question and challenge how we do things today with view to making them better tomorrow. Excellent understanding of Operational Resilience frameworks, industry standard processes, and regulatory requirements (e.g DORA), with experience and up to date knowledge of Operational Resilience, preferably in the financial sector, including the implementation of relevant IT Operational resilience guidelines An operationally focused individual who has developed a broad set of key management skills across IT Operational Resilience, IT Project Management and/or Service Management experience and comfortable with multiple Service concepts (Data, Disaster Recovery, Backup & recovery, Resilience, Cloud etc.) will help you to stand out Solid understanding of IT Resilience concepts and a thorough understanding of Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Impact tolerance levels of IT Services. Essential Qualifications
  • 3rd level degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate desirable
  • Relevant ISO qualification desirable for Business Continuity & IT Resilience
