The Buyer / Planner I (Analyst I, Materials/Planning) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for organising, planning and procuring finished goods from third party suppliers across EMEAI. Responsibilities involve managing inventory for all manufactured and purchased finished goods in warehouses throughout Europe within the EMEAI Finished Goods Planning organization.

This position is part of the European Materials & Planning group located in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare, Ireland and will be fully remote with regional responsibility. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the European Finished Goods Purchasing Team and report to the Supervisor - Materials & Planning. If you thrive in a fast paced role and want to work to build a world-class supply chain organizationâread on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

·         Purchase assigned parts from an approved supplier base per agreed purchase policies; and retrieve ordering signals from the MRP system.

·         Lead activities to maintain inventory levels in line with Inventory Management goals and objectives while maintaining On-Time Delivery targets.

·         Maintain MRP parameters to ensure item data is updated correctly.

·         Proactively report and solve component availability issues.

·         Adjust MRP attributes based on incoming demand signals while completing monthly volume plans.

·         Manage supply of finished goods items at EU warehouses for customer and internal orders.

·         Keep key stakeholders informed of any issues or delays caused by suppliers or general market conditions and communicating any impacts and constraints impacted by the change to the relevant business unit impacted.

The essential requirements of the job include:

·         Business Degree or equivalent (Level 8) with a minimum of 1 years experience in a relevant Buyer/Planner position.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Experience working in an MRP/MPS environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

·         Planning & Procurement

·         Using Oracle Applications
