Toll Controlroom Operator at the N 6 Toll Plaza

There is currently a position available as a relief Toll Controlroom Operator at the N 6 Toll Plaza, Cappataggle.

The Toll Controlroom Operator works a 12-hour shift on a rotating basis of three nights on three nights off, three days on three days off. The Toll Plaza operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This relief operator provides cover for annual leave and unscheduled absences. On average the relief operator will work 80 - 90% of a full-time operator. The appointment is for a permanent position and has the same terms and conditions as a full-time employee except for the scheduled hours.

Fluent English and previous experience using Microsoft Windows is a requirement. 

Full training will be provided. 

The Toll Lanes are mainly controlled by the Toll Controlroom Operator. 

It is anticipated that the position will be filled by the end of January 2024. 

Applicants must live within a 25-kilometer range of the N6 toll Plaza, County Galway, Ireland.
