Lead Installer

The Delivery/Install Team Lead reports directly to the Operations Manager and will be tasked with installing a variety of products both residential and commercial. The Delivery/Install Team Lead will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships and possess the ability to provide effective communication with team members, existing and potential clients.
Job Description/Responsibilities:- Own your role by managing and leading other team members in preparing for and executing assigned deliveries/installations
- Ensure that all work meets company standards and the requirements of the individual project(s)
- Hold a working knowledge of the installation processes, techniques, and best practices
- Hold a working knowledge of both wood and metal
- EWC's Install Team delivers and installs a diverse array of products to a variety of clients both residential and commercial
- Installations include:
- Steel and Glass Doors
- Cabinetry
- Freestanding and fixed furniture
- Execute Installations and Deliveries to the highest standard that aligns with EWC's, the clients', and your expectations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and site supervisors at all times both on site and in the shop. As a client-facing team member, this skill is key to establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships
- Join the team in sharing the responsibilities of managing and maintaining a variety of tools and company vehicles
- Comfortable installing items that interact with existing site conditions that may include:
- Framing and blocking
- Trim and other finishes
- Various wall materials/finishes (drywall, lathe and plaster, tile, concrete, masonry, etc.)
- Mechanical (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- MUST hold a valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles
- Keep a positive attitude and maintain professionalism while performing your duties. The ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and think on your feet will help you be successful in this role
- Have the ability to lift/move heavy objects. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and above
- Demonstrate and communicate machine safety and protocols in the workshop. Able to work in all stages of the woodworking process as needed. This may include cutting, milling, machining, sanding, assembly and finishing as projects and staffing require
