We are looking for an experienced FM professional to join and lead our team in the key role of Facilities Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with established Facilities Management experience to join BAM FM and ensure effective management and delivery of planned preventative maintenance programmes, lifecycle programmes and responding to the 'reactive' needs of the client in line with our contractual obligations. The successful applicant will manage the day-to-day operational work of the on-site hard and soft service delivery teams. Your mission Manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities in the building. Communicate on an ongoing basis with client representatives and recording of same. The effective and efficient planning and management of the facility. Ensuring full availability of areas in line with client needs. Manage FM resources and staff, direct and sub-contract, in the facility. Monitor, check and implement a high standard of service delivery. Creating work schedules and task sheets for caretakers, cleaners, security, concierge etc. Generate and complete reports as per contractual requirements and such other reports requested. Provide input and implement new procedures. Delivery of services in line with commercial procedures. Reviewing, managing and engaging specialist contractors and suppliers. Chairing and hosting internal staff weekly meetings. Chairing and hosting routine meetings with client representatives. Carry out safety and quality duties and action items arising from Audits / Inspection Reports. Attend and contribute to central management meetings and workshops to collaborate and problem solve. Ensuring Client satisfaction, delivering project targets on HSEQ, Sustainability, Financial and other proactive interaction and collaboration with the wider team as required . Manage the implementation of mobile devices and use of helpdesk system and other software and technical solutions. Use of company software and file storage cloud solutions for reporting and recording purposes. Manage and deliver the services for events. Such other tasks as may be requested Who are we looking for? 2 years' experience working as a Facilities, Site or Building Manager. IT experience and familiarity with systems Trade qualification desirable. Experience of a technical nature in one or more of the key subject areas; electrical, mechanical, energy, cleaning, painting and decorating, safety or quality management. People management experience. The ability to sustain the highest quality of service level delivery, demonstrate sound commercial judgement, prioritise and balance work tasks in relation to the operational objectives of the customer and achieve continuous customer satisfaction. Due to the client sites being educational settings you will be required to undergo and successfully pass the mandatory Garda checks for the education sector. What's in it for you?
