Our client is a hugely successful indigenous Retailer with a number of prime and extremely busy Retail establishments in their portfolio. They offer their loyal customer base the very best value and convenience when shopping and a personable and friendly shopping experience. To aid their existing growth, they require an experienced Deli Supervisor for a full-time permanent role based in Inishowen in Co. Donegal.

The role -
• Prepare cook, and serve hot and cold meals, maximising sales, and profit through an excellent customer experience.
• Manage, co-ordinate and ensure compliance of stock.
• Seek out to understand and meet the needs of every customer, whilst engaging and inspiring your team to do the same.
• Manage and maintain standards in line with HACCP, food safety. Including completion of food safety paperwork and documentation.
• Plan and organise weekly & quarterly stock take and create and execute action plans on stock results accordingly.
• Ensure stock loss is minimised for your areas by ensuring correct portion control, weighing, labelling, and pricing are adhered to, as well as wastage guidelines in place.
• Deliver and maintain exceptionally high standards within your areas.
• Manage a team of colleagues.
• Manage and train colleagues in your team whilst being hands on, to ensure that the right people, are in the right place, doing the right job to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Actively supporting the management team in ongoing initiatives that involve the local community and charity partners.
• Champion social media for your area to drive sales.
• Awareness of local competitor activity, suggesting new and innovative ideas to stay ahead of the competition.
• You may be required to cover store key holding, with appropriate training, as and when required as part of this role.

What we are looking for
Substantial recent experience in a busy fast food, cafe, deli, food to go or hot counter environment and be able to demonstrate evidence of having a good working knowledge of food safety practices i.e., HACCP etc.
Demonstrate communication & interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Preference will be shown to those with Experience of deli operations including bakery, delicatessen, provisions, etc. and those with a Food Hygiene Certificate.
