What you will do

You will support SAP customers by delivering high value services and projects with absolute professionalism and commitment. You should have excellent soft skills to handle customer and to collaborate with different teams across organization. You should have an appetite to constantly learn and upgrade yourself based on need and based on SAP focus areas. You will support SAP customers on their different paths like S/4HANA digital transformation, their cloud journey, their upgrades and different migrations. You will also travel to customer place for onsite deliveries if needed. You are required to share the knowledge and mentor/coach junior colleagues which is an essential KPI. You should be an excellent team player since quite often you will be working with experts from other teams in a project or a service delivery.

As a HANA Development senior consultant your main tasks will be:

• To help customers resolve their HANA Development issues, by actively tracing, analysing the issue and providing recommendation to resolve it
• To deliver long term development projects matching their expectation, with quality and within timeline
• To deliver architectural services understanding customer requirements and coming up with an appropriate solution architecture
• To support customers on critical phases of their projects like cutovers, migrations, go live, hyper care etc., with an intent to add value to the customer
• To be accountable for your own delivery of the services or projects and responsible for proper completion of the service or project
• To constantly engage with the customer contact throughout the delivery of the project to avoid any expectation mismatch
• To provide thorough analysis of the problem and checking all avenues before recommending a solution and also making sure you always give proper guidance to the customer being the voice of SAP
• To work closely with product development whenever you are dealing with uncommon issues or limitations such that you cascade the most upto date information to the customers
• To support customer escalations and helping to quickly de-escalate the situation

What you will bring

You should have deep expertise on the following technologies,

• Core Data Services (ABAP CDS and HANA CDS views)
• ABAP Rest Application programming, ABAP on HANA
• ABAP Extensibility
• HANA Models (HANA Calculation Views)
• HANA SQL and HANA Procedures
• Performance optimization techniques for HANA Views and ABAP CDS Views
• HANA Native Application Development based on XSC, XSA and HANA Cloud Environment

Also, it would be good if you also have expertise on the following technologies,

• Dev Ops and CI/CD technologies
• Cloud Foundry based Application development
• Typescript, Javascript, XSJS, NodeJS, Odata, UI5 and Java development
• HANA Security (HANA Authentication/Authorization, HANA User Management (XSC and XSA), HANA Encryption, HANA Auditing, etc.)
• SAP Data Integration technologies like SDI, SDA and SLT
