As a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler you will provide Engineering support to the Value Streams through Project Engineering and Planner / Scheduler support.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…
Completing Packaging NPI tooling introductions
Completing Maintenance related Project Replacements and Upgrades
Ensure all projects are coordinated and carried out according to best EHS and GMP practices
Support Maintenance OE Events for Continuous Improvement
Be the Manufacturing RMS champion
Working with Eng T/L’s to ensure:
Effective technician utilization is captured and tracked
Target 80% of work orders raised are planned
Target 15% of work orders raised are continuous improvement type
Timely reporting of technician performance ref metrics
Gatekeeper of Maintenance work requests to work orders Review and monitor direct history logs Shutdown planning and job scheduling Ensure data, (e.g. cost, spares used, contractor reports, permits raised) is accurately captured
Re-plan and manage backlogs
Maintain and issue Performance Monitoring reports via MERP / other
Prioritisation of work based on maintenance activity type, e.g. Safety
Communication with requestor when work is not being undertaken
Machine (Asset) maintenance (Work Orders completed correctly)
Support New Product / Equipment introduction
Perform duties in an EHS compliant manner and behave in accordance with site SOP’s, GSK EHS standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements
Read and understand Standard Operation Procedures applicable to role
Be aware of the impact of your job activities on EHS issues
Support GES in the Maintenance department (103 Maintenance, 104 Electrical Safety) where applicable
EHS considerations when planning work packs for planned / scheduled job
Raise Near Misses when observed
AVL’s are generated for new project vendors
Complete all related QI metrics
Perform duties in a GMP compliant manner and behave in accordance with the Quality Management System requirements
E ssential Qualifications & Skills we are looking for:
- Third level qualification in Engineering or equivalent within a recognized Engineering Trade
- Ability to manage and prioritize work-load in line with job requirements and site priorities.
- Ability to work closely with cross functional engineering teams and build relationships to achieve challenging goals
- Good communication skills are essential
