We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Project Manager to join our Transport Infrastructure business based in Ireland. This is a hybrid role and the role would ideally be based in Dublin, but could be based out of our offices in Galway, Cork, Sligo or Kilkenny, if necessary.

About The Transport Infrastructure Business:

RPS has routed, designed, project-managed and supervised the construction of over 400km of Irish roads and motorways. We have an active portfolio of international projects across UK, mainland Europe, North America and Australia.

About The Role:

The Senior Project Manager in Transport will manage the planning and delivery of projects from Inception through Planning, Design and Construction.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure RPS quality and management procedures are complied with.

· Establish project objectives and develop project plans, budget and schedule in compliance with RPS procedures.

· Build trusting relationships with our Clients.

· Maintain a safe working environment for staff under your control.

· Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular performance reports on completion status, programme and finances.

· Liaise with and coordinate project delivery with the leads of the various technical delivery teams.

· Identify project risks and deviations from programme or budget and prepare plans for mitigations.

· Design and deliver with Sustainability at the core of achieving project objectives.

Key Skills & Attributes:

· Track record of experience as Project Manager in Transport projects.

· Experienced in the design of Transport projects.

· Experience in Urban Schemes, Active Travel and Greenways preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years’ experience across design and construction phases.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

· Proven ability to monitor and handle multiple projects at the same time, balance key priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines.

· High resilience, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation skills.

· Demonstrated ability to create a team culture of camaraderie, integrity and trust, among multination and multicultural teams.

Qualifications:

Level 8 degree in civil engineering; Chartered engineer status; a Project Management qualification is a bonus.
