Image Supply Systems Audio Visual is a leading audio visual and video conferencing integrator. Based in Ireland, we deliver comprehensive project services worldwide. We have over 30 years’ experience specialising in corporate, government, healthcare and third level education projects, we offer expert design and project management, innovative technology, professional workmanship and reliable support.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our senior leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and make a significant impact on the financial and operational aspects of our business.

Job Type: Full-time permanent, office based

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership: Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Managing Director and play an integral role in the leadership team.

Financial Reporting : Work with our external accounts team to prepare and analyse financial statements, providing recommendations to the Managing Director to improve financial performance, efficiency, and profitability.

Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, as well as periodic forecasting, to support effective financial planning and decision-making.

Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support strategic initiatives.

Cashflow Management : Develop and manage cashflow statements to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and strategic investments.

Operational Tasks: Manage operational tasks such as hiring, onboarding, lease management to ensure smooth business operations. Act as a key touchpoint for payroll internally and provide instruction to our external payroll provider.

Financial Controls : Establish and maintain internal controls and financial procedures across the business to enhance financial management and compliance.

Tax Compliance : Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant taxes, collaborating with external tax advisors when necessary.

Communication Skills : Effectively communicate financial information, including cashflow projections and reports, to non-financial team members in a clear and understandable manner.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with non-financial teams to support their financial needs and provide guidance on financial matters.

Audit Preparation : Prepare for and manage external audits, working closely with our external accounts team and auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.

Risk Management : Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rate fluctuations, and market volatility.

Financial Strategy : Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and contribute to the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Financial Controller in an owner-managed company is preferred.
  • Proven ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial personnel.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
