I am working with a well established Accountancy firm just outside Cork City Centre who are on the hunt for Trainee Accountants to join their firm. This role would be based fully on site in the city centre, and would offers its Trainees a broad range of experience with a variety of clients from medium sized companies to sole traders and partnerships. THE ROLE: * The person should expect to work in an organised office and gain vase experience in all aspects of a practice accountant (audit, accounts, VAT, wages etc). * Preparation of records to generate VAT returns and other statutory records * Preparation of management accounts * Preparation of payroll * Preparation of tax returns, both personal and corporate tax. REQUIREMENTS: * Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar * Aspirations to complete their professional exams. * Motivated and a strong team player. * Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
