Reporting to the team manager, this represents a good opportunity to develop and gain extensive knowledge of Derivatives (CFD) Corporate Action processing within a deadline driven team.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Associate you will

  • Carry out core and complex Corporate Action processing and reviewal activities in accordance with established procedures
  • Build expertise on various types of Corporate Action events in the market
  • Train staff on basic principles of Corporate Action processing
  • Ensure accuracy and execute against pre-determined deadlines
  • Handle complex issues and escalate as needed acting with a sense of urgency
  • Accountable for quality, accuracy and timeliness of results
  • Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities
  • Act in accordance with Risk Excellence as part of our Way Ahead foundation

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Knowledge of and a keen interest in Corporate Action events and/or OTC Derivative products, specifically CFDs
  • Highly computer literate with a very good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial or Business background
  • Knowledge of OTC Derivative instruments (CFDs) and Corporate Action market events
  • Previous experience in Derivatives and/or Corporate Action processing
  • Primary Degree or a Professional or Accounting qualification or equivalent
