Kingspan Insulation are a leading manufacturer of high-performance rigid insulation within the construction industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join a global leading business and play a part in our manufacturing operation

Key responsibilities of our General Operative:

You will be working a Morning and Evening shift pattern rotating weekly on our state-of-the-art Manufacturing line:

• Morning pattern: Monday to Thursday: 08.00 to 16.00, Friday: 08:00 to 15.00
• Evening pattern: Monday to Thursday: 16.00 to midnight and Friday 15.00 to 22.00

You will be involved in performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines and equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards.

You will inspect products with precision measuring tools and record results. You will also operate machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products, and you will adjust machine settings within scope of role to maintain productivity and quality standards, complying with Health & Safety guidelines.

What we are looking for in our General Operative:

You will have:

• Flexible and willing to be trained in multiple areas whatever department and area this may be
• Be a good team player with a Can do attitude

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

• Full driving licence
• Accredited lift truck training
• Previous experience working in a factory/ manufacturing process environment
• Able to follow instruction and production schedules
• Basic understanding of touch screen technology
• Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel, SAP.
• Able to act quickly when problems arise
