This position will be located at Nua Manufacturing in Carlow, with reporting lines to our Finance department in Maynooth. Additionally, there will be a secondary reporting relationship to the Off-Site Manufacturing Director.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Reporting of actual financial results for the operations department which includes operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and facilities Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting pack circulated to the Nua Manufacturing leadership team Providing financial insights for decision making for all aspects of stock including provisioning and average costings (Key items - Timber / Steel / Materials)? Review and approval of unit/ project pricing ensuring that it is in line with overall financial forecasting and margin projection Financial budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the operations department Decision support for all aspects of the department aimed at improving overall performance Assisting with profiling of fixed assets in the manufacturing department including business case creation for new and replacement equipment Development and reporting of financial and other KPI's for the department including the design of operational scorecards Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time
Requirements
Qualified management accountant (CIMA) with 2-3 PQE within a manufacturing environment Experience working within a fast-paced growing business previously is desirable Familiarity with Microsoft Nav experience is preferred Precision and proficiency in analytical problem-solving, numerical calculations, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to getting things right on the first attempt Capacity to thrive independently in a fast-paced setting, meeting stringent deadlines Skill in establishing connections and articulating the financial implications of operational activities, and conversely, explaining the impact of financial aspects in a straightforward and comprehensible manner Excellent communication and presentation skills A full valid clean driving license
