Logisitic Planner

Senior Logistic planner and a Logistic coordinator is wanted for a leading concrete business in Meath and South Dublin head offices. Requirements Plan the most effective daily transport and delivery schedules for each manufacturing location. Lead a logistics team to manage our business process for order - delivery including customer service. Work closely with manufacturing location managers and batching teams to deliver effective production planning, understand location capacity and product capability. Oversee process orders received via telephone, email, face-to-face or Sales Team. Responsible for vehicle planning and allocation of fleet to locations to fulfil daily orders. Ensure all customer orders are delivered within agreed timeframes. Ensure on-going effective communication with site teams, fleet, production locations, technical and sales. Understand and achieve specific targets regarding utilisation of trucks, costs and empty journeys. Work closely with dispatch teams to maximise the utilisation of trucks. Skills Required: 5+ years experience working in a logistics or dispatch office. Strong knowledge of systems/detailed administration. Logistics experience within manufacturing would be beneficial.
