Job Description

We are currently inviting applications for a Sous Chef to join and lead our team in The Stables Brasserie Kitchen. A qualified chef with experience coming from a similar background necessary to join our team.

Your will be required to demonstrate your experience, your passion for food, your food knowledge and cooking skills. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance Exec Head Chef. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career. As part of your duties, you will be required to:

  • Maintaining high standards of food preparation and service of the afternoon and evening service.
  • Be aware of all food preparation standards and that they are met at all times.
  • Ensure that food that is prepared and presented is of high quality.
  • Ensure food safety guidelines & HACCP are maintained and monitored.
  • Assist in other sections of the Kitchen as required.
  • Lead and Oversee the The Stables Brasserie kitchen team.
  • Maitain high guest satisfaction – comment cards/trip advisor

We also expect you to take part responsibility for the process, procedure, system and service control and the continuous quality improvement in food quality, menu type while maintaining the cost and expenditure budgets. Also ensuring the kitchen is consistently fully compliant with Health and Safety and the HACCP regulations Acts
