Who we are looking for:

State Street seeks to recruit a Endpoint Security Analyst as part of the Security Technology Reliability (STR) team that will assist in maintaining a stable environment across infrastructure and applications in order to provide continuous security through the provision of IT Security tools. They will be responsible for the detection, triage, analysis and response to issues that threaten the provision of security through the deployment of security tools. The analyst will join our Platform Security team which runs a 24/7 coverage, 365 days a year model.

The STR team is responsible for analyzing events from multiple sources from across a large enterprise network. The STR team will partner with multiple teams across Global Cyber Security (GSC), Global Technology Services (GTS) and Business Units (BUâs ) globally including but not limited to GTS Major Incidents (MI), Cyber Fusion Center, Advanced Threat, Cyber Intel, Content & Red/Purple teams.

Join us in evolving our response capabilities to protect State Street, its customers and partners from the ever evolving and sophisticated global threat actors. State Streetâs Fusion Center is responsible for detecting and responding to various cyber threats 24/7 365 days a year, that are directed towards the enterprise.

This role may be considered for remote locations, with a preference to on site in the Cyber Defense Center. This role requires shift attendance in line with the day of the region it is located in. Shifts are 10 hours for 4 days (including some weekend time), followed by with 3 days off, with vacation and national holidays allowance provided as usual.

Some on call duties may be required (including nights and weekends) to meet a 24Hr by 7 day week by 365 days a year operations model. Training will be provided to ensure a good knowledge across our security tooling and IT infrastructure and applications.

What will you be responsible for:

· Detection of infrastructure and application security events & incidents.

· Analyze infrastructure and application security events from multiple sources (SIEM, IP/DS, EDR, AV, Firewalls etc).

· Respond and contain infrastructure and application security incidents and identify recovery and remediation strategies.

· Identify process improvement areas and new opportunities in technologies or capabilities

· Communicate incident status to lead engineers and managers

· Creating an environment which drives knowledge sharing with teams across the Fusion Center

· Help developing the Fusion Center mindset and a 24*7 response capability

· Receive mentorship from other Security SMEâs across the Fusion Center

· Good all round knowledge of IT architecture including basic scripting ability

· High level understanding of trouble shooting and recovery management methodologies

· Proven ability to work in a team environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelors or Masters in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science; or relevant experience
