Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin (TCD), is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Anatomy. The successful applicant will join an established Discipline within the School of Medicine. TCD is seeking an individual with a proven track record of expertise in the anatomical sciences that has led to success in publication, supervision, and funding. The appointee is expected to have significant leadership experience with a clear commitment to research-led, anatomy teaching excellence.

The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in anatomy or a related health sciences discipline and 10 years+ of anatomy research and teaching experience.

The Discipline of Anatomy teaches 800 undergraduate students of Medicine, Dentistry, Human Health and Disease, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Speech and Language Studies, Neuroscience and Radiation Therapy. The Discipline also hosts a postgraduate MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine. The preferred candidate will support the academic mission of the Discipline of Anatomy through teaching research and leadership, and participation in the wider academic life of the College, including committee membership and professional development activities.

Salary: Appointment will be made on the Associate Professor (105B) (Schedule B) Salary Scale commensurate with qualifications/experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy (€85,675 to €110,635 per annum) www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf
