We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Transport Infrastructure business based in Ireland. This is a hybrid role and offices available are Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo and Kilkenny.

About The Transport Infrastructure Business:

With more than half the world’s population now living in urban areas, smart, safe and sustainable transport is one of the most crucial, yet complex challenges facing our cities. Designing and delivering locally relevant transport systems requires careful consideration of the issues including environmental impacts, design considerations, and the unique needs of communities and clients.

We provide technical and advisory services across the entire project lifecycle. We are proud to have worked on many of Europe, North America and Australia Asia Pacific’s most successful transport projects including roads and motorways, light and heavy rail, ports and airport upgrades.

About The Role:

We are seeking a quality candidate to take up a position as Senior Project Manager in our growing Transport Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management of large and medium-sized projects within the Transport Sector
  • Coordination, communication and collaboration with design engineers and scientists from disciplines across offices
  • Travelling both domestically and internationally as required to support project work or for training
  • Liaison with current and/or potential clients and representation at professional meetings
  • Assisting with market intelligence
  • Mentoring of more junior members of the team.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Understanding and proven track record in management of large-scale projects in the consultancy sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing, presentations and client liaison
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Access to local industry knowledge and contacts
  • Ability to work independently and also within multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Demonstrable commitment and proactive approach to health and safety culture
  • Creative and focussed thinking
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service to clients within budget and time constraints
  • Interest in personal development and keeping abreast of best practice in the industry

Qualifications:

  • Primary degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Recognised Project Management qualification.
