Job Description for SAP Business Analyst
About Synapri and the OpportunitySynapri is collaborating with a global consulting business to fill a long-term SAP Business Analyst contract role, commencing in May 2025. This position will be based in Dublin, Ireland, with a split of 70% remote work and 30% on-site duties.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities- Gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis.
- Analyse proposed initiatives assigned by the PMO, producing cost-benefit analysis documents.
- Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 15-20 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong consultancy background.
- In-depth knowledge of the transport industry.
- The ability to advise clients on improving business operations, including cost reduction efforts, simplification, and automation.
- Experience in requirements gathering and process design for EAM systems such as SAP, Infor, and Oracle.
- Familiarity with BMPN process flow design using Visio or ARIS tools.
- Proficiency in compiling and scoring RFQs/RFPs.
- Knowledge of Business Process Modelling and Notation v2.0.
