About the role

The Solutions Consulting team is primarily responsible for growing annual recurring revenue by providing business and technical expertise throughout the customer lifecycle. As a Principal Customer Success Solutions Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients in the retail and apparel industry, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to help them leverage our technology solutions effectively. You will combine your deep industry expertise with a strong understanding of our platform offering to drive business outcomes and deliver value to our clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in consulting, implementation, and client engagement, as well as a deep understanding of both technology and supply chain management within the apparel/fashion industry.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on industry trends, challenges, and best practices within the retail and apparel industry.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of client needs and business objectives to develop tailored solutions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to align our offerings with client requirements.
  • Lead the development and delivery of high-impact product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and executive briefings to showcase our capabilities and thought leadership.
  • Have extensive industry knowledge and guide cross-functional teams on industry trends and challenges.
  • Actively seek out new knowledge, share insights, and encourage team learning.
  • Manage multiple projects independently, while identifying project risks and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Analyze potential risks in projects, implement risk management plans, and provide risk insights.
  • Design and validate comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs and oversee multiple implementations; ensure best practices and resolve escalated issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
  • Conduct thorough discovery sessions and integrate findings into solution design.
  • Strategize client engagements; deep technical consulting. Consult clients on best practices, drive deeper engagements, upsell services.
  • Lead in-depth analysis and predictive modeling. Lead complex implementations and custom solution design.
  • Produce in-depth technical guides and be seen as a documentation expert. Mentor others on best practices.
  • Provide in-depth technical guidance and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Execute advanced demos, introduce innovations, and integrate client feedback.
  • Lead in designing complex technical requirements and collaborate with Product Management.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in fashion/apparel sourcing or supply chain management.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS, analytic tools, or applications software with a proven track record in exceeding goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating complex business processes into simple, actionable steps, such as through flowcharts or process maps.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills (web and in-person) required.
  • Experience in establishing and growing senior-level relationships (Directors, VP, SVP, etc.).
  • Demonstrable understanding and appetite for digital technology including API Integration, SFTP Integration, and Tools Automation.
  • Comfortable to own and manage monthly and quarterly objectives and quotas.
  • Ability to work from home independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience of working alongside product teams and staying abreast of product developments, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Ability to quickly establish key facts and requirements to evaluate and propose solutions to business problems or processes.
  • Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements.
