Job Description

CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGERS required by CareerWise Recruitment by our BioTech client to manage projects with capital value €5 - €50 million at their new facility in Limerick. Initial 24 month contracts on offer. The CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGERS will lead and manage capital projects consisting of contracted professionals to safely achieve project objectives from front end design through operational qualification. The objectives for projects include: Safety / environmental compliance and continuous improvement, relentless pursuit of value improvements via cost or schedule enhancements at all delivery stages, fulfillment of project business objectives in the form of capability delivered with adherence to quality objectives.

Role of this position

The capacity to achieve results through people. Facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement safely with quality, speed and value. Must exhibit a good sense of judgment in decision making, without the need for management approval while at the same time keeping management informed and engaged on critical issues. In depth knowledge of, and experience in, the application of industry accepted project management experience. Demonstrated value for a disciplined, structured approach to project management and the ability to create and communicate progress via a metric based program. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to influence personnel and organizations without having direct administrative responsibility for them. Influence on and understanding of the external environment in order to understand comparative value and possible risks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Third Level Qualification or equivalent preferably in an engineering / project management field. Minimum of 10 years of work experience across major pharmaceutical start up's Capital Expenditure between € 5 - €50 Million.
