Greenfield Transfer Pricing Senior Manager - Tech Group

This in-house role is with a listed global technology company whose customers include some of the world's largest brand names, with revenues of almost $6bn.

This group is currently enjoying a period of sustained growth, and as such, they now need a Senior Transfer Pricing Manager to establish their transfer pricing processes and future-proof their position. The initial focus is establishing TP policy, compliance, and best practice for EMEA. This is a very exciting greenfield position for a commercial TP professional to really make their own.

About the role:

  • Bring Transfer Pricing in-house and develop and maintain transfer pricing methodologies, policies, and internal documentation to ensure compliance for multiple jurisdictions across EMEA and beyond.
  • Design, develop and implement an appropriate, commercial transfer pricing structure that meets the needs of the Group, with reference to the latest legislative developments in Europe, including Pillar II.
  • Manage reporting obligations across different countries, including preparing OECD-compliant documentation like master files, local files, and benchmarking studies.
  • Proactively track evolving business practices and international tax laws to align the company's transfer pricing accordingly.
  • Provide advice to the wider business and finance teams on transfer pricing implications of new business models.
  • Prepare financial models for proposed and existing transfer pricing policies and calculate intercompany recharges on a quarterly basis.
  • Create documentation of intercompany transactions for internal compliance and external tax filing requirements.
  • Prepare annual transfer pricing documentation for tax returns and compliance with OECD/BEPS and US IRS standards.
  • Conduct interim testing to confirm intercompany profits fall within acceptable ranges.
  • Assist with handling tax authority audits on transfer pricing issues, including responding to requests and developing defense strategies.
  • Handle transfer pricing for new acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and managing intercompany loan pricing and benchmarking.

About you:

  • Qualified accountant or lawyer with a significant track record in transfer pricing, preferably gained in-house.
  • In-depth understanding of OECD transfer pricing rules and their application in major markets.
  • Prior experience negotiating with tax authorities is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise explanations suitable for diverse audiences and to address complex problems under tight deadlines.
  • High level of or fluency in Dutch is an advantage.
