The Opportunity –
Novaskill is currently partnered with a range of local businesses who are offering multiple Electrical Apprenticeships opportunities including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
You'll be completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology whilst gaining exposure to Solar, Domestic, Commercial & Industrial environments.
Role & Learnings –
- Gaining an understanding and adhering to local and national electrical codes & regulations will be crucial, you'll learn how to ensure that electrical work meets safety and code requirements
- Use of various testing equipment including multimeters to check voltage, current, and continuity which will contribute to ensuring electrical systems are working properly
- You'll learn how to measure, cut, bend, and install conduit (metal or PVC pipes used to protect electrical wires) and assist in pulling and securing electrical wiring within the conduit
- Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment is critical. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organised work area
- You'll help install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and circuit breaker panels

About You –
- Demonstrated commitment to completing your study whilst balancing working
- Have time management, attention to detail, planning and organisational skills
- Willing to work hard and complete the job
- Drivers Licence & Reliable Transport is a must
- White Card or willingness to obtain
