Planning & Allocation Manager (Fresh Produce)

Our client, a leading player in the FMCG Industry based in North County Dublin, has a requirement for a Planning and Allocation Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

The successful candidate will hold a key role within the Supply Chain team, reporting into the Planning and Allocation Manager EMEA based in Co. Dublin. Working with a team of international colleagues, you will be responsible for short- and medium-term supply and demand balancing, data analysis, and reporting.

Duties include:

  1. Receiving and analysing market requirements from branches.
  2. Receiving and analysing supply estimates from production.
  3. Balancing demand and supply and optimising product allocation to partners.
  4. SAC demand planning, allocation data processing, and reporting.
  5. Internal customer support, correcting data as required.

The Person:

  1. 3 years minimum experience in a similar role in fresh produce or fast-moving goods industry.
  2. Strong communication skills.
  3. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  4. Attention to detail and ability to follow through with changes in planning.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Experience of MS Office Applications including an advanced knowledge of Excel.
  7. SAP experience is a plus.
  8. Fluent English speaker; good working knowledge in Spanish is an advantage.
