Trade Counter Sales

TJ O' Mahony, Ardee, Irish Street, Ardee, Co. Louth. Eircode A92 YK07, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Ireland's leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a

full-time, permanent, Trade Counter Sales to join our team.

Job Purpose: To provide product knowledge of building materials and plumbing products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with suppliers
2. Provide excellent customer service, dealing with customer queries phone/counter
3. Preparing quotations
4. Use of the In-House IT Software System
5. Handling customer collections
6. Carrying out any additional duties as required to meet business requirements

Requirements:

1. Experience in product merchandising
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills
3. Maintaining professional merchandising standards, including ensuring correct labelling, pricing and product placements
4. Computer skills
5. Friendly, helpful attitude
6. Motivated with ability to work on own initiative
7. Experience in sales, both trade and retail an advantage
