What you need to know

Our client, who are a long-standing manufacturer in Co. Westmeath, are seeking a Logistics Support Administrator to join their team.

The Logistics Support Administrator will oversee the shipment of all finished products to global destinations via sea or air. This role is primarily focused on the administrative aspects of logistics within the department, and you will report to Team Leader Logistics.

This is a Fixed Term Contract of Two Years. Working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.

Your new job

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately input shipment data and maintain documentation in the ERP system.
  2. Communicate and coordinate daily with production and dispatch teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  3. Liaise with shipping companies to schedule product exports efficiently.
  4. Manage customs declarations and prepare all necessary export documentation in compliance with regulations.
  5. Ensure customers receive the correct documentation, including invoices and shipping details, for their orders.
  6. Perform general administrative tasks to support the logistics department as needed.

What are we looking for?

  1. Qualification in Administration with 2–3 years’ experience in a fast-paced office environment (preferred).
  2. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  3. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy setting.
  4. Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments while also working independently with initiative.
  5. Experience with ERP systems.
