About our Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to get off the tools to join us as a Project Manager for our residential division, servicing between Ballina out to Toowoomba and up to Gympie. This role will see you predominantly on road project managing high-end (up to 5 million dollar builds) and semi-commercial projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

You'll be provided all the tools required to perform the role including a fully maintained vehicle (Hilux Ute), mobile phone, laptop, and relevant measurement tools.

In addition, you'll:

  1. Deliver projects from contract negotiation to completion
    • Coordinate site measures
    • Shop drawings
    • Production orders
    • Project programs
    • Coordinate with production, service, and sub-contractors ensuring a high level of service to our customers
  2. Manage installers and glazers, working closely with both internal and sub-contractors to ensure works are complete on time, per specification and building code without exceeding budget
  3. Provide support and guidance to sales reps when quoting for relevant projects
  4. Ensure OH&S standards are maintained on-site at all times

About You

We're looking for an experienced Tradesman, either a glazer or installer of glass or aluminum products or someone with project management experience within the building/construction industry. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships will be a must, along with your professional communication and diligent organisational capability, will be key to your success in this role. Seeking a self-motivated, results-focused professional with a strong service ethos.

You also need:

  1. Trade background in carpentry joinery, glass glazing or similar industry experience
  2. Background in managing projects
  3. White Card
  4. Proficient use of hand tools, levels, and tape measure
  5. Ability to understand the technical product, regulatory and industry knowledge requirements
  6. Professional service, presentation, and communication with customers
  7. Current open driver's licence
