About the role

Energia, part of Energia Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer based in Dublin. This new role will support the Senior Project Manager in the delivery of a major 220 kV GIS cable connected substation with multiple 220 / 20 kV transformers and switchgear to feed the adjacent large energy demand partner. The project will involve working with a number of different stakeholders including EirGrid, ESB Networks, Energia’s Project team, Owner’s Engineer team, EPC contractors and equipment manufacturers. As this team is in growth phase, this role presents an exciting opportunity to join at the early stages of project development and plays a vital role in our contribution to the energy transition.

About you

  • Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Significant experience in the design or delivery of projects of similar scale and complexity.
  • Proven experience in using AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
  • Demonstrable experience of preparing drawings, designs and reports to project teams and management.
  • Demonstrable experience of being on live construction / heavy civil engineering projects.
  • Current driving license and access to a vehicle.
