We are seeking for a Sous Chef for our client, in a ​​​​​​4* Hotel in Wesport, Co. Mayo.

Candidate information/requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least four years of proven work experience in a busy restaurant or similar environment
  • Experience with events and high-volume service
  • Qualification from a culinary school
  • HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge
  • Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation, passion for delivering great food and service
  • Ability to work paced environment
  • A minimum upper Intermediate level of English is required
About the job:
  • ​​​Permanent, full-time position
  • If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with guaranteed accommodation in a private room in shared accommodation. (Utilities are paid additionally)
  • Salary after tax in Ireland for this Sous Chef role will be from 37.440 € - 41.600 € gross per year (2.645 € - 2.890 € net per month) for 40 hours per week (5 days per week)
  • Salary is paid monthly
  • Your duties will be to: oversee and supervise kitchen staff, direct food preparation and ensure that meals are properly prepared, work on the hot sections and mains if needed, follow directions provided by the head chef, collaborate with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food, service and hygiene standards, assist with menu, planning and stocking, training of new employees.
