Key Responsibilities

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects, including materials, labour, and time requirements.
2. Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to assess project scope.
3. Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary project data.
4. Developing accurate pricing strategies and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
5. Maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
6. Assisting in bid preparation, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations.
7. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, pricing variations, and new technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the HVAC or mechanical engineering sectors.
2. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and relevant industry standards.
3. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
