Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team at Finning, where no two days are the same. We are a leading company in the Energy and Transportation sector, and we’re looking for a motivated Project Intern to support our Project Teams. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact. This role will be based in our Dublin branch starting in June 2025 to August 2026.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do:

  1. Assist with both office and site projects
  2. Collaborate with experienced professionals
  3. Contribute to innovative solutions in the Energy and Transportation Department
  4. Provide support with the implementation of the project management system (Blueprint/site specific) to assist with the delivery of electric power projects.
  5. Support the Projects team to ensure delivery is in line with the specifications.
  6. Collaborate with the on‐site commissioning team to ensure successful project execution.
  7. Work on CAT Systems to access technical data required for O&M/Project Handover Processes.
  8. Work on equipment drawings, regularly updating with site modifications to deliver “As Built” drawings to clients. Work in tandem with Project Engineers to deliver final O&M Manuals to the client.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  1. Students currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  2. Enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow
  3. Team players with strong communication skills
  4. Strong IT Skills ‐ The ability to plan and reschedule in an ever‐changing project environment.
  5. Analytic skills ‐ Capable of analysing substantial amounts of data and providing concise scripts in written and graphical formats.
