ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT/ADMINISTRATOR
Based in Co Galway - Own transport essential.
The successful candidate will be part of a busy finance team in a civil engineering company. The role entails supporting the finance department with administration and account tasks. Previous experience in a finance administration role is essential.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Downloading and printing supplier invoices from a shared mailbox.
- Coding/inputting supplier invoices/credit notes to accounts system.
- Approving Stg and Euro supplier invoices for payment in a high-volume environment.
- Entering data on Excel spreadsheets.
- Processing weekly supplier payment run.
- Collating and processing monthly credit card payments.
- Providing cover for annual leave.
- General administration and support to the accounts payable team.
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a finance administration role is essential.
- Accounts Payable experience.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail with a strong work ethic is important.
- Strong data entry skills.
