Reporting directly to Team Lead, main responsibilities of this role are:
- Processing all new orders
- Irish Domestic Freight
- UK Import & Export
- European Import & Export
- Ensuring all paperwork is received and correct.
Answer & follow up queries on the following:
- UK & Domestic Collections
- EDI/Excel Reporting
- Delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Day-to-Day processing of new orders via on-line booking system and email requests in line with Company Policy and Procedures.
- Provide excellent Customer Service by responding to enquiries/queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Meet the operational day-to-day collection/delivery needs of our customers in the most cost-efficient and effective manner.
- Keep customers updated and fully informed on order progression and any deviations that may arise.
- Ensure all orders/requests include correct information with contact details.
- Communicate with internal departments within Ace.
- Communicate with ACE Agents.
- Display and promote a positive work environment through respecting & supporting work colleagues in the completion of all duties.
- Comply fully with the defined operating procedures (SOPs) and processes.
- Comply fully with the administration duties inclusive of investigating, sourcing, processing, and inputting into reports or other reports as requested in a timely and efficient manner.
- Proactively support and fully comply with the Companies Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in other functions within Operations on a project basis when requested.
- Demonstrated ability to speak and write in English fluently.
- A high level of numeracy, literacy, and Microsoft Office skills.
- 1-2 years similar experience preferential.
- Highly proficient on Excel and Reports.
- Previous office administration experience in an extremely fast-paced arena.
- Detailed history of working in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the Logistics/Freight Industry would be a distinct advantage.
- Good communication skills with proven work performance results.
- Exposure to working to KPIs and the deliverance of same.
- Professional and focused approach with a high level of attention to detail.
- Attention to analytics and conformance with defined procedures around tight timelines.
- Customer-focused with a desire to strive for excellence.
- Positive can-do and highly ambitious approach.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Increased level of flexibility to meet timelines on reporting.
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills.
