A Business Systems Analyst – IT is required on a contract role by CareerWise Recruitment for our Irish based client.
Role of this position
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with expertise in Alteryx to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and programming, with a proven ability to utilize Alteryx for data manipulation, transformation, and visualization. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in extracting insights from large datasets, optimizing processes, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business decisions.RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Utilize Alteryx to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to prepare it for analysis.
* Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for automating repetitive data tasks and improving efficiency.
* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
* Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards using Alteryx and other BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
* Monitor data quality and integrity, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement solutions to ensure accuracy.
* Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data analytics, Alteryx, and related technologies.
* Provide training and support to colleagues on Alteryx usage and best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on data manipulation and analysis.
Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, including experience with data blending, spatial analysis, predictive analytics, and macros.
Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams is a plus.
Alteryx Designer certification is preferred but not required.
