- Transparently manage, track, negotiate trade-offs, and report out success UX metrics for all the projects you oversee.
- Implement regular 1-1's, design review meetings, demonstrations, for the internal and external teams involved in your projects.
- Create close professional relationships with key cross-functional leaders in order to understand where the business unit is going so that the team can be prepared (hire, train, etc.) adequately to support future needs.
- Effectively utilize and teach relevant user experience methods to developers and other stakeholders, such as how to apply a corporate design language, design frameworks, problem framing, design principles, how UXD works in Agile Scrum, and overall design thinking.
- Ability to deliver and manage the creation and delivery of UI specifications, wireframes, workflows, and low- and high-fidelity Axure prototypes, and other relevant outputs.
- Build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions through facilitative leadership, storytelling, teaching, mentoring, and inspiring colleagues to value UX work and to include UX early in every project.
Interested applicants should have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related degrees.
- Minimum 9 years' experience working as an interaction/visual designer in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated track record of success designing software and hardware in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- At least 5 years' relevant and proven experience in Interaction Design (experience within a regulated industry such as medical is preferred).
- Ability to effectively communicate interactive and interface design data, design proposals, and product specifications and to explain the rationale behind design decisions clearly and in a way that inspires stakeholders.
- Ability to concisely critique designs for improvement and to translate customer feedback into strong design decisions.
- Strong skills in creative design tools including Axure, Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, Jira, Kanban, MS Project etc.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-platform development, and app frameworks.
- Success in applying a company product design language guide and ensuring that colleagues apply elements accurately with strong design thinking behind their decisions.
- Demonstrable ability to work closely and collaboratively with developers implementing your designs to save time, create the best possible designs, reduce rework, and improve outcomes.

- Organised, self-directed, efficient, and able to manage multiple and complex projects on time.
