PURPOSE

Develops, maintains, and supports specific software components under guidance from more experienced Developers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Write and deliver code for specific components and make code changes as needed for addressing defects.
2. Follow coding guidelines and practices and all technical processes.
3. Participate in developing and validating estimates for technical work that will be undertaken.
4. Participate in requirements analysis and design of new components to meet stated requirements.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years in software development.
• Strong skills in ReactJS and TypeScript, with knowledge of BDD testing patterns (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Experience in Java, Python, or C# is a plus but not required.

Knowledge & Skills

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with ReactJS, demonstrating the ability to create responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Experience with TypeScript, ensuring robust and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing patterns to ensure high-quality code and efficient testing processes.
• Test automation (Unit, Integration Testing, API testing, end-to-end)
• Experience working with Jest JavaScript testing framework.
• Experience working with Junit 5 or higher for effective Java unit testing.
• Experience working with code quality/analysis tools such as SonarQube.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of pattern-based development principles for creating scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database, including database design and optimization.
• Experience with MongoDB for scalable and flexible data storage solutions.
• Knowledge of legacy JavaScript, ensuring compatibility and smooth integration with existing systems.
• Experience using Azure Boards for agile work management, Azure Pipelines for CI/CD, and Azure Repos for source code control.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices such as Source Control, Branch policies, Branch flow, CI/CD Pipelines, Package management.
• Proficiency in Java, enabling collaboration across the full technology stack.
• Experience developing, testing, and consuming REST APIs.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.
• Professional programming certification in a mainstream programming language is a plus.
