The position of Social Care Manager is available in our service based in Thurles, Co. Tipperary. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the care delivered to the young people meets company policies and procedures, national regulations, and provides a homely, clean, safe environment suitable for their ages and stages of development.
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Social Care Professional who can contribute to creating a safe atmosphere for these young people. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor or MA/MSc degree in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Social Work, or related fields.
- A Full, clean manual driver's license (valid in Ireland).
- Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Minimum 3-4 years post-qualification experience working with young people, depending on the level of degree held.
